Another Upside to Internet Dating
Let me paint you an over exageratted picture.
You walk into a bar. You’ve had to shower, look yourself over fifty times, do your hair, shave etc.. and then get to the bar and you have to spend money on a drink. You scope out the bar. There’s 10 sexy ladies in the place (this never happens, but it’s a very good night apparently). You see that 4 of them have rings. 3 of them have guys draped around them like fur coats. Two of them are making out with each other. You stare a little longer than you should. Nice.
So that leaves one girl in the bar. One. Girl. You get the nerve to talk to her and she throws a drink in your face (obviously this is an extreme way to say she’s just not into you). When you’re out and about, what you see is what you get…quite literally. You go home deflated.
So you log on to a free internet dating site. Wow. All of a sudden an epic sea of ladies who actually want to date are there. They’re looking for the same thing you are. Very interesting. All of a sudden it’s no longer what you see is what you get - it’s time to grab a spoon and take your pick from thousands! Thousands upon thousands of actual single girls! The best part of all, you don’t have to suit up and spend!
I don’t see a downside here. Do you?
